IMAP — Recommended for All Devices

IMAP keeps your email synced across all your devices. Emails, folders, and read/unread status stay in sync on our server — and our backups cover your entire mailbox.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1Open your email application and choose to add a new account.
  2. 2Select "Manual Setup" or "Advanced Setup" when prompted.
  3. 3Choose IMAP as the account type.
  4. 4Enter your name and full email address.
  5. 5Set the incoming server to mail.webwize.com, port 993, SSL/TLS encryption.
  6. 6Set the outgoing server to mail.webwize.com, port 465, SSL/TLS encryption.
  7. 7Enter your full email address as the username and your password.
  8. 8Enable "SMTP requires authentication" (sometimes called "My server requires authentication").
  9. 9Click Finish and send a test email to confirm.

Apple Mail — Example Configuration

In Apple Mail, go to Mail → Add Account → Other Mail Account.

Select Manual Setup and choose IMAP.

Enter the incoming and outgoing server details from the table above.

Apple Mail will verify the connection and add your account automatically.
